The 3 hour lunch with a friend and champagne...naughty but nice!

It's been a while since I lingered over a lunch, this view and a glass of champagne with a good friend...and I enjoyed every minute of it. Will I fall asleep at the flower club tonight?

It's been a great privilege

At last I have done it!
It took many years and much hard work to trace my husband's family back to 1640
Today I completed the final family history book to pass on to the Grandchildren.
It's full of pictures and stories of being gassed in the trenches in the Great war. Being picked to be a 'Phantom' in the Second World war, meeting Montgomery in slippers, dancing with Lauren Bacall and just so many fantastic stories to pass on.
I'm just the researcher and scribe but it's been a great honour and a privilege to pass the pictures and the stories on for future generations.
